Kindness Crusaders

So pleased to be able to support the Kindness Crusaders at Magothy River Middle School.

For their most recent project, the Kindness Crusaders in the Kindness Club at Magothy River Middle School PTSO teamed up with Holly McNelly, a senior at Severna Park High School to give their girls' bathroom a kindness and positivity overhaul. The students designed, decorated, and repainted the bathroom doors with positive affirmations like “Believe in Yourself," "Be the Best Version of You," and "Have Courage and Be Kind.” The project received funding from the Olivia Constants Foundation, which provided a $500 grant to purchase the needed supplies. This is only the latest effort by the afterschool club to spread kindness at their school and in the community. This year, they also have sent “kindness grams” to the teachers at Severn River MiddleSchool and Arnold Elementary PTA, are currently making blankets to donate to the homeless, and would like to continue the painting project with other bathrooms in the school.
