SSA Junior Sailing Racing
The SSA Junior Sailing Racing team held a fundraiser for The Olivia Constants Foundation at one of their high school fall regattas in Annapolis. Team members, family and volunteers had a cookout after racing with free food but accepted voluntary contributions for the OCF. Olivia was a member of the summer traveling team. This is an awesome group of young men and women who shared the passion for sailing with Olivia. They have been drawn together and have formed lifelong bonds as a result of the tragedy that occurred on their playground. Dealing with the passing of Olivia, they have exhibited character well beyond their years. The cookout fundraiser was a smashing success, with the team contributing over $1900 to the OCF. Steve and Dorothy got together with the team in the beginning of December to thank them for their support and celebrate their success.
